Artist and illustrator Dave Aikins is returning for the 2025 Cincinnati Comic Expo!
Dave Aikins is an illustrator working in the publishing side of children’s television and movies. Over the past 30 years he has worked on hundreds of children’s books for shows such as the classic 1964 Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, SpongeBob, Kamp Koral, the upcoming SpongeBob Movie: Search for the Squarepants, Blue’s Clues & You, Paw Patrol, Rubble & Crew, Blaze, Dora the Explorer, Shimmer & Shine, The Cat & The Hat, and many more.
He is currently working on books for Netflix’s upcoming series of Dr Seuss shows, including Horton! and Red Fish Blue Fish, as well as books for the third Paw Patrol movie. Dave has also spent 25 years as a product designer for The Bradford Exchange/Hamilton Collection, designing collectibles for The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman ’66, KISS, Rudolph, The Simpsons, Disney, Marvel, and his own line of classic monster collectibles. Dave also enjoys creating pop-culture portrait commissions and his art book collection, “The Art of Dave Aikins: Pop Culture Portrait Drawings”, is now available at upcoming convention appearances and on Amazon.
