Artist and writer Anthony Marques will be attending the 2023 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

After graduating the Kubert School, Marques was a freelance artist, writer, and editor. He has worked with Dynamite, DC, Dark Horse, and IDW. Marques returned to the Kubert School to join as a member of the faculty as well owning a comic book shop in New Jersey. Marques currently serves as the president and owner of the Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art.

The Kubert School is offering free portfolio reviews at the 2023 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

-Participants should bring only what they feel is their best work.
-Staff from the school at the Kubert School booth will review the work and give an honest critique.
-Reviews will only take place from 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
-Participants do not pre-register. They will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

Artist Joe Corroney will be in the Duke Energy Convention Center as a guest of the 2023 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

Joe has been illustrating Star Wars artwork for Disney and Lucasfilm and Star Trek artwork for CBS Studios since 1997. Other licenses, studios and professional publishers he has illustrated for include Stranger Things for Netflix, Marvel Comics' Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, DC Comics, Green Lantern, Superman, The Jim Henson Company, Dolby Cinema, Indiana Jones, The Walking Dead, X-Files, Doctor Who, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, True Blood, GI Joe, Farscape, Firefly, Heroes, The Phantom, Hasbro, X Box, Sony Pictures, MTV, Random House Publishing/Del Rey Books, Simon & Schuster/Pocket Books, Becker & Mayer! This package includes a meet and greet with Disney Legend Floyd Norman (animator, storyman, “troublemaker”). The meeting will occur on Sunday, 9/24, at a time and room number TBD in the Duke Energy Convention Center. All participants of this event will meet at the same time with Floyd Norman.

The package includes a commissioned 11x17 watercolor that may contain 1 or 2 characters from Floyd Norman’s Disney, Pixar, Hanna-Barbera resumes.

The package also includes a photo with Floyd Norman, taken with your own camera or phone in the meeting room.

The package also includes 2 (two) Floyd Norman signatures on fan-provided items.

Cost for the experience package (commissioned artwork, exclusive meet and greet, two signatures and photo) is available for $995. This package is only available for order until June 30, 2023.

Tara Strong will be attending her first Cincinnati Comic Expo this year!

Tara has over 600 credits to her name with a broad coverage of animation, video games, voice work, and others. Fans recognize Tara for her portrayal of Harley Quinn in dozens of series, as well as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl and Raven in many others. Her resume continues with The Fairly OddParents, Crossing Swords, My Little Pony, Ben 10, Family Guy, Inspector Gadget, Loki as Miss Minutes, Kim Possible, and so much more! Fans will have seen her on camera in Party of Five, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and others. On the big screen, Tara is known as the voice of the teddy bear in Ted and Ted 2. Artist Guy Gilchrist is coming to the 2023 Cincinn

Artist Guy Gilchrist is coming to the 2023 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

Guy Gilchrist will always be known as "Jim Henson's Cartoonist," having created "The Muppets" comic strip (KFS) for newspapers around the world 1981-86 and having a leading role on Jim's creative team on Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock and Other Henson creations.
He has also headed Publishing and/or Licensing for TMNT, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Pink Panther, and Disney among other cartoon icons.
Guy is the author of 50+ children's books of his own creations, and has been given three Children’s Choice Awards from the International Reading Council of The United Nations for his Tiny Dinos series, as well as garnering two Silver Reuben Awards from the National Cartoonists Society (NCS) for Night Lights & Pillow Fights Volumes l & ll.
Guy’s Muppets work was permanently enshrined in the Smithsonian in 1984, with First Lady Nancy Reagan declaring him “a national treasure”.
For 23 years, he also wrote and drew the Nancy comic strip (UFS)(Universal), the Night Lights comic strip, Mudpie comic strip, and the Your Angels Speak comic strip for various news syndicates.
Guy lives in Nashville, Tennessee where he continues to create art and (his other passion) music!
